We’re proud of the car you see above. It was a fine Bugeye when it showed up after we retrieved it in Texas for the client, but now, after 100 or so improvements, this car is really great.

About a month ago, we began our countdown to 400 Bugeyes sold by highlighting Celebrity (#390), Lilly (#391), Cirrus (#392), and Sawyer (#393). This is a huge milestone for us, not just because 400 is a significant number, but also because it is a measure of the amazing progress we have made. We still learn something new with every one of these cars, and we are excited that we continue to improve. We also continue to celebrate the uniqueness of each and every one of these wonderful cars. No two are the same!
This month, we’re still cruising right along towards the big 4-0-0 , currently at 398!
Thank you Mark from CA!
Bugeyeguys head to the Audrain Concours!
Next Sunday, AN5L 501 will make her debut at the Audrain Concours in Newport, Rhode Island. This is our biggest show yet, and it is an honor to be able to participate in this invitation-only event. It is a privilege and a special moment for any little Bugeye to go up against much more prestigious (and expensive) vehicles.

A Bugeye’s coolant bypass hose can tear faster than Aaron Rodgers’ achilles. But there’s hope, and a new one is only $8.95 (including new hose clamps).
You need to check yours today.
If you are unfamiliar, this little hose lives under the thermostat housing, connecting the water pump to the cylinder head, and is often neglected. The hose shown is seriously inflamed and the worst one we have ever seen. We added a photo of a new accordion style hose next to it so you can see the amount of deformation.
The accordion style shown can crack, and apparently, based on this picture, get really swollen too!
We sell a straight hose for more longevity. It’s a little harder to install with the water pump in place, or remove your water pump to install. This will keep your juices flowing for a long time to come!
