Here’s a nifty anti-theft battery cut out switch idea… when clients request this switch, this is how we mount these so you can cut out your battery and take the big red key with you!
We mount these battery cut-off switches under the dash next to the steering column so we can interrupt the ground of the battery rather than add an extra junction point on the hot side. This is the correct way most battery manufacturers suggest mounting a cut-off switch. This installation also keeps the cables short and direct.
