This is Thor (named by the new owner). Thor was an online acquisition by our client in Minnesota. We picked the car up for him so we could review and upgrade the car before his trip home, and in the video below, you can see some of the issues we will address before the car departs.

Every old car has issues, and so we don’t discriminate. Our job is to optimize each car and to make it as reliable as possible. Thor is no exception. The older these cars get, the more issues they seem to accumulate, and we are doing everything we can to stem the tide.

Front frame horns are commonly smashed or bent, then the nose doesn’t latch (you can buy new horns here (to weld on))
Rear shocks are often neglected, but new ones really improve the ride (we sell them here)
The plastic oil gauge line (translucent tan with black oil bits showing through) is a chafe risk and can cause a real mess if it breaks. (New oil pressure gauge line kit is available here)
Heater valves are always leaking, stuck or broken, (or all of the above). (we have a kit)
When slaves get crusty, they are getting ready to leak. (slaves available here)

Rack boots often perish, so it is helpful to periodically check yours, to protect your rack. We offer a rebuild kit here.
Nose hinges are always under stress, and often pull this brace away from the nose. This restorer welded his with re-bar. Click here to see our flip nose kit, perhaps an easier solution.
