Linda is Now SOLD to Doug who is returning the car to Indiana! Bugeye #347 has found a wonderful new home!
This is “Linda,” a strong Bugeye just in from a long stay in Indiana, where it was a regular driver for the prior husband and wife team who owned it. In fact, they took the car on several thousand-mile driving tours. Check out the new video!
This is a great car with a bunch of nice features like a generator/alternator which looks stock but actually packs a higher amp punch courtesy of the alternator hiding inside. Also fit is a fused dummy regulator, all this so you can still run the original mechanical tach drive. There is a short punch list, as you can see in the video, call to discuss if you are interested!
She has a five-speed Datsun transmission installed, mated to a 948 engine. She runs well and is great to drive with an overdrive fifth gear and fully synchronized gearbox.
We’ve just installed new radius arms to tighten up the rear suspension.
She shines quite nicely, but the paint has some cracking and a few chips. If you are looking for a five-speed driver and don’t mind a few paint imperfections, this car could be for you!
