Stretch the LWB Bugeye is getting new side curtains. Problem is they have to be completely custom. The car that will wear them is one of two known LWB Bugeyes we built, and so the doors are five inches longer. Thus, the stock side curtains won’t fit.
Our solution is to take an early soft side curtain, cut the frame and lengthen it, and to then sew a new clear plastic window to accommodate the longer frame. We made an extra long top and tonneau as shown in the photos above, to fit the LWB cockpit and soon the car will have matching windows to boot!
