NOW SOLD to Frank in Rhode Island!
AN5L 40722 is a 1960 Austin Healey Sprite that needs complete restoration and is for sale at a very attractive price of just $500.
Ready to take it on?

The car is stored in a garage in Rhode Island and can be retrieved there. She needs a bunch of restoration work but the nose looks pretty good and while the front footwells are shot, the rear floors look better than many of the projects we have seen brought back to life. This one might have been a parts car way back, but now, cars in this condition are being rebuilt and coming back on the road frequently, especially as Bugeye values continue to rise.

This one looks to need rocker panels and floor pans but the spring boxes seem to be reasonably intact. This car was purchased in the late ’90s with the goal of complete restoration, but plans change, and now this one is ready for a new restorer.

Drivetrain is still attached and it looks like the correct 948 engine and smoothcase transmission. Assume that both will need to be rebuilt. Dashboard and most of the parts appear present. Doors might have gone missing, but the owner might have them in their basement. Anything missing can be sourced in our parts catalog (including used Bugeye doors, if needed), and we can help the new owner with shipping and tech support to get this one going once again. Sold with a bill of sale only. You will need a trailer and some muscle to remove it from its current location in Rhode Island and to get it onto your trailer.
