It all matters, but this week we are dealing with the details, and a restoration is only as good as the sum of its parts. So we are of course constantly media blasting and painting original small pieces, and cleaning and preserving original parts where possible.
Kirk and Kelly’s car, which is just in the final phases of a complete restoration, is getting the icing installed and it has to be properly prepped. Above, you can see his original VIN plate, before and after, as well as his original horn, which we cleaned and painted, and then hung in its proper original home.
