You’d think it was father’s day, because here is another father/son acknowledgment.
Alec (left) had us pick up this wonderful olde English White Bugeye from the Philly area while dad was out of town. Dad knew the car was leaving for minor local service, but didn’t know that a massive restoration project was about to ensue. In reality TV show fashion, we promptly transformed and fixed everything that had been needing attention on this car, including hydraulic, shock absorber, radius arm , wire wheels issues, etc. We focused on anything that would limit drivability, and, about a week later, Alec let the cat out of the bag so father and son could ride Amtrak to the Branford Station just a few hundred yards from our shop, and the guys piled into their Sprite for a fun 225 mile drive back home.
Another Bugeye Sprite transformed!
