Looking for a project? Here’s a Bugeye that deserves to be saved and this is your lowest entry price into the world of Bugeyes. It would have been a parts car years ago, but with prices climbing and rarity increasing, this is a rebuildable car, especially since there’s still integrity to the spring boxes and bulkhead.
The car will need complete floor pans on both sides, but the spring bulkheads and rocker panels are pretty good. The trunk was dented and cut open. A good rear (green) panel from another car is included to weld into the back for that repair. The nose has the usual old repairs done to the front, but the wings are in fine shape and fit the sides of the car quite well. There’s work to be done but we have seen far more damaged noses restored.
The engine bay looks good for a project car and the battery shelf is solid. The 948 correct engine is complete and turns. The car is mostly complete with only a few small items missing. We have everything in stock for the new owner. It comes with an original driveshaft, radiator and windshield frame as pictured with good original glass. Any minor missing parts are available from us, as is everything else for that matter. We have all the new parts for sale you would need to build this car, and we will be happy to help you with phone support during your project, to help you get this done.
The car comes with a bill of sale and affadavit of ownership, which should be sufficient to register the vehicle when its ready to come back on the road. We have packed all the parts into the car so you can trailer it home on any small trailer, or we can have it delivered anywhere you like. It rolls.
