Howard and Pat now have one of my favorite Bugeyes! We built this one from the ground up, and the Black with red tonneau is color-combo knock-out! The car also has anthracite wheels and matching powder coated trim. We love to tastefully customize Bugeyes! Check out more picture of this amazing car in the gallery and video below. She’s also fit with our new custom twin-tipped muffler, which we tuned and designed for all Sprites and Midgets. We got tired of whacking our ankles on the long Monza custom muffler that is out there, it just doesn’t fit- way too long, and no way to get it retracted. So we built our own, and it sounds and looks awesome. You can hear it on this car, and see the stunning twin tips in the gallery below.
Howard’s Bugeye has a 1275 engine, four speed transmission and new black seats with red piping. We drove this one up and down interstate 95 a bunch to get it ready for Howard’s drive to Vermont, and this was one tight car at all speeds. Congratulations Howard, and hopefully you’ll have the car at the British Invasion this September in Stowe, VT.
